I paid $200 for Metroid Prime. That was all I needed to play on the Game Cube to make it worth it to me. I would pay $400 for the Switch 2 with a Metroid game that was as expansive or as ambitious as Breath of the Wild, even if there weren't going to be other titles released for it.

$400 for a console and a game doesn't seem like a crazy number. Or do you mean $400 for each?

My point was that I wouldn't need it to play another game other than Metroid Prime of the Wild for me to be happy plopping down $400.  But to your question...yeah, I'd help fund an expansive Metroid Prime for $400 if that was what it took to make.  I'd easily have paid that for Breath of the Wild.  That kind of experience is just ridiculously amazing.  It's less than $1/hour.  Besides, my Rocket League addiction that I only paid $20 for is adding money into my Game Bank all the time.
