They're not losing anything though.

I'm a Wii U owner. I bought Bayonetta 2 back in 2014 and enjoyed the hell out of it. In 2018, they brought Bayonetta 2 to Switch. If tomorrow they announced Bayonetta 2 would be coming to Xbox, that wouldn't be taking anything away from me. I still have my copy, I still got to enjoy it ages ago and can play it again whenever I wish.

But are they putting Bayonetta on Xbox? Why haven they?Better yet...would they?

Now lets use reason to understand why Xbox is so quick to go third party.

Because they (MS) want to bring their games and services to a wider audience. But that doesn't take anything away from Xbox gamers. They lose nothing by Switch owners also being able to play Cuphead or the older Halos.
