Cant be a handheld as it needs to be plugged in. Switch is both so it easily fits into the comparison. |
plugged in? in what? If you mean a power supply that could be solved by a battery. But anyway if you prefer call Virtua Boy a home console if you want it won't change the point.
Switch Lite is exclusively a HH, and as I and many others have said Switch was from the start a HH with capability to plug on TV with less hassle than PSP, PSVita or PSTV option of PSVita or the hassle to play through wifi to have PS4 games on PSVita.

And as I already explained:
Vita is 17.8% of the average, while Virtual Boy is just 1.23% of the average, making the Virtual Boy over 14 times more anomalous than the Vita. You have to draw the line somewhere, and I draw the line at 80x less than average, not 5.6x less than average. |
But actually don't need to drawn the line here. You can very much make an average of how much all systems released sold, you can make a list of average on top 10, etc. But your list is very arbitrary, it counts every system released by the 3 manufacturer but a single one. You are drawing the line specifically to exclude it.

If anything PSP is more of an anomaly than Vita. PSP did about 5x as much as any non-Nintendo handheld ever. |
But did in line with other Playstation platforms.
