According to VGC, the Switch sold around 1.5m more units than it has shipped during the first six months of the year. It's probably slightly overtracked, eithery way, but the main factor seems to be they heavily stuffed the channel last holidays and had far more units in the distribution channel than usual throughout most of the first semester.
