I don't think I've ever seen anyone express anything negative about Awakening - the worst I've seen is people saying it's not the best in the series, which isn't exactly criticism.

I've read some criticisms on the FE reddit. Some say because of Awakening, we've gotten the games we've had as of now, which is a negative for some in that forum. That it strayed away from the "true" aspects of Fire Emblem just for the sake of getting more sales and all. Then again, its reddit.
