Blah blah blah. Are you always this hard headed? Okami was a terrible comparison, be an adult and accept your error.

As for physics, first time I've seen such a robust physics engine in an open world game.  Why this makes you cry for pages on end, I do not know.  More importantly I do not care.

BotW is one of the highest rated games ever released, and for good reason.

Blah blah blah, Okami was an example of how these concepts have been around for a long time. Be an adult and understand that you misunderstood the purpose of it being brought up. Or maybe you can cry about it for a few more pages, who knows.

And yeah, BotW is one of the highest rated games ever released for a number of reasons. There are accusations of a "Zelda bump", but even if you take that into account it is a very well crafted game with a very good concept that plays well. As with most high profile Nintendo games, it has few glitches and the ones it does have only add elements of humor or intrigue rather than the game breaking type found in Bethesda titles. It also served as a new direction for Zelda as a whole, and it challenged speed runners in a very direct fashion.

But it didn't get its rating for being groundbreaking to the gaming industry. It got it for using established norms (elemental physics, open world, non-linear progression, RPG elements) cohesively. That's not revolutionary, that's just really good.
