I think you can also cook an apple with a fire arrow, no? And food items freeze in the snow areas. There is a bunch of physics in BotW that simple are not in Okami. Okami is a horrible example.

There is a bunch of stasis things that can be performed as well, such as a fast travel.  I also liked putting out metal items at an enemy base camp during a lighting storm.  Glide, shoot a fire arrow, create a drift, continue gliding.  The examples go on and on.

Cool. Fire and for a boolean value, and "fire" is attached to a number of things. If true, Apple becomes cooked apple. Such physics. So wow. Never been done before.

Inertia, cool. Pretty sure Portal played with inertia in much more interesting ways than slapping a rock six times to make it for into the sun.

Playing with electricity is also cool. I like setting up lightning traps, too, but I'd hardly consider it "physics" in the face of what other games like Ark do with electricity.

And oh my goodness, updrafts.

The examples could go on, sure. But they would all miss the mark on being revolutionary.
