I'd say HW sales paint a different picture. Sure, one title probably doesn't make a difference, but add up all the ones not showing up on XBO that are on PS4 and it starts to make a difference. Then you have all the games showing up on PS4 first, not all of them because of deals, that tip the scales greatly in PS's favor. A lot of their 360 died after XBO launch, unless you count Kinect games. Scarlett isn't even out and releases have already started drying up. Like MS, I'm sure you'll count a cross-gen title and having xCloud on XBO as great after launch support. And as I've said before, stop representing what I have said just to f make a feeble attempt at a dig. Didn't say they'd leave the gaming market, just the HW market. |
HW sales are what they are for lots of reasons. I'm not implying these games are not a reason, but if they were nearly as big a reason people make them out to be, they'd be showing up on sales charts. But they don't, they're a very niche situation in a vast majority of cases. What you're left with is PS4 being what 360 was last gen, the de facto standard dudebro console plus getting lots of third party marketing deals plus Sony is simply stronger in more territories. It would outsell the Xbone in Europe and Japan even without Kinjetsumoto Dragon Z launching console exclusive.
Their 360 output outside of Kinect games last gen had already started to slow down well before they began marketing next gen. But we still got Horizon 2, Titanfall, Motocross Madness, Battleblock Theater, Skulls of the Shogun, Lococycle, Fantasia, Super Time Force, Screamride, Ascend, State of Decay, among others I am forgetting the year the Xbone launched and 2014. Far from abandoning anyone. I believe Fable Anniversary was 2014 as well.
The bolded part is sheer nonsense. Why would a Halo game on Xbone not be considered great Xbone support? And you speak as if that's the last Xbone game MS will make lol. They showed plenty of good Xbone games at E3, give the conference a watch some time, ignorance is no excuse to speak incorrectly on things.
The thread is literally about Xbone hardware. When I say exit the market, I'm talking hardware. Either way it's irrelevant and you're just flinging shit at the wall every year hoping it eventually sticks.
