As you can see I am not denying that drift is happening.  I am however saying that this and other controller problems have been just as present with EVERY console based on not only my personal experience, but based on several other accounts I have seen as well.  I am also stating that I have 2 sets of year one joycons and 2 pro controllers, none of which have drift to this day.

So with that in mind, I find it funny how people are quick to single out the Switch and act like it is the only Nintendo that has these probems, when as far as I and others can see (not necessarily in this thread) it is no different than any other controller wear and tear in the past.  I guess it is only natural to single out the current gaming device selling like hotcakes though.  It happened with PS4 when people claimed it had nothing to play but indies, it happen with the Wii when people called it "the console everyone owns, but no one plays".

The reason I felt the need to respond is because you acted like I was "defending Nintendo" when in fact I was simply pointing how comical the hypocrisy is that people forget this kind of thing has always been present with EVERY CONSOLE, and if we are to point out one case we should call them all out.  At no point did I claim that it did not exist, in fact I said it was probably on a larger scale.  It is because you refuse to acknowledge what I said to begin with that it appears like I am talking in circles, because you are arguing with yourself over a non existent point that I never tried to make.

Well we don't find it funny. We don't find it hypocritical. What's funny and hypocritical about Nintendo fans upset with Nintendo? You keep dancing around what exactly your point is, so I can't very well respond to it. Who cares if it happens to every console? I've never had a problem before, I'm having a problem now, and I'm upset about that. There's nothing funny or hypocritical about that.

I have had problems with N64 and Gamecube controllers, and not Switch so I fail to see what your experience has to do with mine.  It seems like you are taking this stuff way too personal, so much in fact that you still miss where I point out that the problem sounds a bit more widespread IN MY VERY FIRST POST on the matter.  Not my fault that you keep fixating on one single part of my post while allowing the overall point to fly over your head.

Have a nice day.
