sony will not make too much money off of the ps3. the will change their economics and make it more affordable for devs and consumers. the brand name sold them a bunch of units and they are happy about that. the come from behind win showed them that cost matters a ton, but the games they made got them the win.
nintendo will have made a crap load of money and opened up to third parties. their console failed to win cause they ignored graphics, but succeeded cause they emphasized gameplay.
ms failed to break even on the console. they got sales cause they got third parties to make games for them and started having a good first party but their first party is still killed by nintendo and sony. they failed since they couldnt make casual games.
