The other 291,167 people who bought the system this week will spill out a dash of their Hylian wine for you skipping a system because it has a feature you wont use. Did you buy a gamecube? How often did you find yourself wielding that by the handle they included on the back of it? Or how often did you use the Phono out from the NES? Or that crazy attachment underneath the system which never had a use outside of Japan. Just saying, I'm sure there's a ton of things in your house which have features you don't use, you have them in your house for the features you do. |
I don't buy things with features I won't use that potentially add 15-30% or maybe even more to the cost of the thing itself. The screen and battery of the Switch are a major part of the system, of which I have zero use for. I gave up portable gaming last gen. The handle on the gamecube was negligible (the system itself was negligible as I remember, and I still bought it). Same for the NES phono and expansion ports.
