Why is Nintendo the only one singled out with shutting down fan games?

Sonic Generations and Sonic Colours were good games!  So were the Sonic Advance games actually.

Yeah Sonic team have put out shitters too, but people always seem to forget the recent good ones.

Ether way back on topic, Sega does what Nintendont.

The games you listed are 8-18 years old, not really all that recent.
