To be honest, I'd prefer that Sony continued to only buy studios that are already practically first party. Third party games and DLC should keep coming to all platforms simultaneously. Many users last gen were interested in Alan Wake and sad to discover it was exclusive. If this rumor is true, we'll again have a bunch of users not able to access Remedy games.

With that said, Alan Wake is one of the best games I played on my 360 and I'd love a true sequel. Hopefully, a 3rd party publisher is willing to fund it.

The days of Platform Exclusivity are coming to an end. With PS Now, xCloud, and Google Stadia we will all have access to Sony, Microsoft, and Google 1st party games day one across all of our devices. That is why building up Exclusives will be even more important going forward. Even if Sony, Microsoft, or Google do buy an EA, Capcom, or Take Two, everyone will continue to have access to the games, including millions of new consumers that would never invest specifically in a console or PC that can play AAA titles.

If Remedy joins SIEWWS, you will be able to play their PlayStation Exclusive game on PS5, or via PS Now on many other devices.

I look forward to more and more companies being bought up by Sony, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, and other major companies that can give them the time and resources they need to deliver their vision. Having games built exclusively for each platform, will help increase the qaulity of all titles greatly.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
