They said: "The PC Physical version will be delivered on disk. However, the disk will contain the Epic Games Store installer and not the actual game data."

So why they even bothered making the disk is beyond me....

I regularly buy music CDs despite not having a single CD player (the PS4 can't read them and my laptop doesn't have an optical drive) to support artists and add them to my phisical library despite only listening to music in streaming.

The disc doesn't need to be useful or even contain the game, it's just there for collecting sakes.
