For me, the answer is no. But the longer answer is, it could be. For me without a doubt the most important selling point of a console is exclusives. Regardless what MS does with the Xbox Brand, until they can at least compete with Sony/Nintendo with exclusive content, I am not buying in.
The second reason I say no, is because I rarely buy games day 1. Fact is games drop in price very quickly, which makes gaming cheap. I got Dragon Quest XI, God of War and Monster Hunter World for something like $80.
