Hey in my defense Nintendo can lose money for half a century and still exist: As my idea went... ....I'd comment, but frankly the only major company I think about enough (Nintendo and the overarching companies) I actually like. Yes, even Game Freak. Oh I have things I'd do in office they aren't doing now: I'd probably go hunt down fired, departed, or disgruntled creators of games from other companies and tell them 'I'll pay you to have your own studios, though prove yourself first'.

Opening a few new studios for more games is a recoupable expense: if the most expensive game in Nintendo's history was Breath of Wild that needed just to sell 2 million to break even, it shouldn't be too difficult. An adjustment on Game Freak will probably have more a cost effect long term, but that's probably not enough to make things problematic. MY!Nintendo buying From Software, Bungie, Projekt Red, or something to make their games Nintendo only (and publically saying that is the reason) is probably the most cost destructive expense, but that is probably the hardest of these things to do anyway. |
I just... Wow. I don't even know where to start.
