I think the Elder Scrolls works better in third-person than first-person. After a while you'd probably forget what race your character even is.

Doom, on the other hand, relishes in brutality, so a first-person perspective works best for that.

never liked playing ES in 3rd person cause it demands precise aim when it coming to using skills/attacking. In some moments of the game the use of 3rd person would be better, but for combat, 1st person fits better.
