Remember back when Nintendo first stopped doing a conference and did these directs. Man did they get blasted, and people thought that was it for them and they would be a software only company soon. (well that last part is always true)
But now everyone is copying them if they are smart and look behind the times if they are not.

Not good, and that would be so idiotic of Nintendo. I'm sure they saw how people like Metroid Other M, no reasonable company would pursue that. They know people want the first person prime style.
