You can't really point fingers to people claiming it will take years for the good games when that was exactly what MS fanbase were saying just before. Much less say it doesn't have to do with this specific instance.

But I wasn't pointing fingers for the "it takes years to develop games" part. I think in that part we can all agree.

I was just pointing out the ridiculousness of the notion that ANY publisher would force a developer to develop a game in ONE year. Specially when we have had the discussion about "games take years to develop" just a couple of months ago.

Understood, my bad then. Just very simple indies would take less than one year nowadays. Even sequels or Ubi sequels have like a 3 year interval with 3 teams rotation.
