Nah. This one is more alive. Like look at the pokemon and characters expressions. Look at the stadium design with so many people. And look at how good the different abilities during the Dynamax mode. The 3DS wont be able to run that. 

Hey, I said HD 3DS game. And when I say it looks like an HD 3DS game it has to do with texture quality and lighting. The models for Pokemon have been used since the 3DS and the character models are something that could have been done on 3DS in terms of poly count. You are right that you wouldn't have that many characters on 3DS in full 3D but that's just a matter of GPU difference, not necessarily evocative of Game Freak's presentation skills. 

For Pokemon this probably does look good to a lot of people, and if that's the case for them then more power to you all. It's just that for me, I've grown up with a lot of Japanese game franchises including Pokemon, and to see that they do little to improve each generation compared to other franchises and don't really take risks, it just does nothing for me. And hey, I get it, Graphics isn't everything and Game Freak isn't necessarily a graphical powerhouse but even game play mechanics like Dynamax are just stale to me. The Stadiums are just going to be "Oh okay it's a stadium, let me get ready to Dynamax" and I highly dislike formulaic game structures like this. 

And yeah I'm probably bitching and ranting about this game a bit much but man I just want Game Freak to evolve and get out of their comfort zone a bit.
