It wasn't your typical Nintendo console though. No other Nintendo console has ever had such a lack of system selling software in its first year.

I mean in terms of droughts. Nintendo banked way too much NSMWU, who could blame them, most thought the same, the wii game was a monster in terms of sales. third party support was very good, but much better then anything before SNES.
