I wouldn't suggest that the Wii could catch the 360 here in North America this year, although next year is a possibility.
Who cares? Wii doesn't affect 360.
360 will beat the PS3, that's what counts..
Wii is like a toy..the real system battle is 360 vs PS3.
If the Wii continues selling well into the year, we'll continue seeing more development resources pulled away from PS3/360 and towards the Wii, that's all there is to it. Of course I'm not saying they'll abandon 360/PS3, but the longer this current trend continues, the more of an effect we'll see during these "console wars". Of course, western developers are presumably going to be slower to offer more wii titles, simply because of the presumed market share that we expected a year ago and the good success of the 360 in North America. But now with Wii dominating in Japan, and starting this year by outselling the 360/PS3 in other regions, it's a ripple effect that can have a dramatic effect on this industry. :)
