Yea i remember people seeing the footage could have been recorded at 30fps which is not unheard of.

You are comparing games made for last gen specs in mind, and even then zelda struggles to maintain 30fps, and that was ported by nintendo, witcher 3 is game made for consoles with 4-5X the power, it's massive open world game that's a generation ahead of Zelda graphically.

So, every game on a Nintendo Direct that is 60fps looks like 60fps... but suddenly DOOM is rendered at 60 and recorded at 30. Got it.

I'm mentioning those games because the other user said that the Switch struggled to mantain 30fps with last gen open world games. Which is false. Getting 30 fps at 95% of the game and some drops here and there is not struggling. It would be struggling if the framerate was constantly dropping below that number. Which is not happening.

Sorry i'm not paying attention to every direct, or what frame rate are running. I just remember many saying it would be 60fps, and i thought it was possible. switch had just come out and has never been to the test like that, so it wasn't some impossible task. especially when  wolfienstein was able to run 60fps on 360/ps3.

Switch ports of lastgen open world have struggled so far. almost all have except for skyrim, but that game is 8 years old. zelda drop frames often, sure it's not a big deal but' it's no where near locked.
