First, thanks 
Second, all of the Mortal Kombat characters AND the villains can do fatalities--just not, say, Batman or Superman, because it goes against their character. But even they still have 'brutalities', which involve beating the ever-loving piss ouf of the opponent.
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
