We can pretend Liverpool hasn't had any terrible refereeing decisions. Especially not in their last game before their game winning goal..

And not one Liverpool player, especially any of Egyptian descent ever dives.

Salah never dived up until half a year ago and he was constantly criticized for that, everyone said he should be going down to try to win penalties and what not. Then he does it literally once and now he's the worst diver in the country. I'm... not sure I disagree with that sentiment, actually. Salah is terrible at going down, he makes actual fouls seem like dives just because of how bad he is at it, and that's why he suddenly got this reputation. But he only had one proper nonsense dive all season, and it came in a game Liverpool were already winning.

I don't recall any bad decisions leading to Liverpool's third goal the other day, though I do think Alexander-Arnold should've been sent off and he ended up being influential in Liverpool's victory. But one missed sending off isn't quite the same as three. City have consistently had atrocious decisions go their way all season long, but even moreso in the last couple months, and they would've been out of contention for both titles they're going for right now if it wasn't for them. So much so, that the only time they had VAR in a crucial game, it was needed to stop them from progressing, as well.

I've seen a few Salah dives this season, and play acting a foul to try get a player sent off is almost just as bad.

This is the foul that lead to Liverpool's game winning goal.

They've had multiple decisions like this and offside goals throughout the season. Like other teams but it's highlighted a lot when it's a team challenging for the league.
