The bad:
Buddy Cop Movie Plotline is overdone and boring.
Sanic looks abysmal. What was wrong with his old look!? His voice doesn't fit as well as prior VAs either.
Jim Carrey looks nothing like nor acts anything like Robotnik (until that very end little snippet) and frankly, he's playing the worst version of Jim Carrey, kid friendly. All of his best movies contained R or borderline R rated content, and it's been at least a decade since he had a good role. His lines in the trailer suck too.
The dialogue in the trailer is generic so I don't expect much from the movie.
The fact that Sanic the Manhog gets Gangsta's Paradise in the trailer but Jojo's part 5 can't get it as an ending theme is proof God has abandoned our kind.
The Good:
The special effects are cool.
