It seems in every other instance where a system was this successful (PS1, PS2, Wii, PS4 before Switch) it left the competition in the dust and there was simply no contest.

Suddenly Switch and PS4 sales don't look like anything special anymore.

And suddenly the X1 doesn't seem to be doing, "good, just not as good as PS4 or Switch."

In fact, I think the poor X1 sales are highlighted more than anything by that tbh.
