wait... so you can get the full value of the game back if you bring it back in 48 hours? so.... could you buy the game at 5pm monday, return on weds at 4pm, bring in the game, return it... buy it again. come back friday at 3pm... wash rinse repeat? Handy way to rent out games for free indefinitely.

Read the fine print. :P

You don't get a refund for the tax spent. I think where I live the tax is like 8.25% or something like that, so almost $5. Also, you get your money back as in-store credit. It's also only applicable for new, $60 games, and the article isn't completely clear, but it might be the case that the 48 hour window is from the game's release, and not the time of purchase (although this I don't know about).

I know your post was in jest, but just sayin' :P

There is some states that have no sales tax on games (I know from having my Nintendo Eshop account in one of those states so I don't pay extra for games from there) but yeah... it wouldn't matter about buying new games, if you bought a new game and returned it for your full amount as store credit... you could take a different new copy off the shelf and bring that home with you.

This idea of theirs smells of desperation and really is open to abuse.
