Macron, on the other hand, says he will only allow an extension if the UK finally has some semblance of a plan on how to leave the EU, with Belgium and Spain supporting that, too. Considering that Rees-Mogg announced in a tweet that he wishes that the british MEP should be naysayers on everything as long as they stay in the EU, I think that could be actually a prudent choice if they would go and follow his wish. But that's only if the UKIP or a member of the ERG would become MEP.

Speaking of that tweet, it seems it backfired spectacularly, as it is an admission that the UK had the power to block and shape things all along, but didn't do so.
