My collection is still feeling the impact of selling a game though!! but tbh anyone who ever considers picking up that WWE game on the Switch, know that you need to download almost 20GB to go with the cartridge and the game is borderline unplayable with just 2 players in the ring, anything over that is just a waste of time, would probably take less time to set up and get out a copy of the Xbox360 version of the older games rather than waste time watching the Switch running that thing at 10fps or so. Will be cool to pick up another few games though and be the first member with 200 titles! (considering that Talon skipped the 200's and went right to 300+ lol) |
Yeah, I was so hyped for that when it was first announced, and then steered clear when the reviews came in. I was also extremely disappointed with 2K for not making any attempt to patch the game into playable condition, or release a follow-up game that eliminated those issues. It bothers me that they frequently put the game on sale in the eshop to sucker new Switch owners who might not have heard how broken the game is and think they are getting a deal just because the game is over a year old. Both of their NBA games on the Switch are spectacular, and that has 10 players running up and down the court simultaneously. There is no reason why it should be so difficult to get more than 2 wrestlers moving in a wrestling ring at a decent framerate. If Blind Squirrel is so incompetent that they can't even get a single wrestler's entrance walk to not animate in slow motion, then hire the game out to someone else who can. Don't just throw in the towel on future iterations, while continuing to accept money for the broken piece of crap you already shat out. Don't mind me. I'm venting, because I was really looking forward to having a wrestling game on Switch. A buddy of mine also works with me, and I had been telling him how great it would be to create wrestlers on our lunch break at work and then get together and play the matches on Friday nights on the big screen. Such a waste of potential...
