Or turn out P5R is Persona 5 Revolution - direct sequel of Persona 5 just like Shin Megami Tensei IV and SMT IV Apocalypse. P5S is Persona 5 Standard - the first Persona 5 

This is kinda my thought process as well, but it would suck to have a sequel come out the same year as the standard edition is just now hitting the switch. But honestly atlus has done weirder things
