I literally just explained to you how that's not true. PS4 sold 20 million in 2017, the year Switch released. Thats nearly twice as much as Wii U+XBO sold in 2014, PS4's first year on the market.

Generations are arbitrary and mean nothing to the general consumer. You compare the primary consoles that are on the market at a given time.
