Not huge issues.
The PS4 had PS3 and Vita at the same time with new games and some exclusives, while the Switch only had the 3DS and not even the Wii U.
The PS4 has had 3 competitors outside of the PS ecosystem and 2 of them strong in the XB1 and Switch. The Switch only has to deal with aging XB1 and PS4 so far.
