Also, I don't think Microsoft is out of the race. There are many things they can do to stay competitive, at least with Sony. I will admit, though, that this seems to be their last chance. I wouldn't be surprised if all three companies knew this was Microsoft's last chance to make a big splash, actually. -Microsoft will unveil a bunch of big games, and a couple of wildcards (maybe a pricedrop or free Live) -Sony will try to do whatever they can to show MS up--moreso than usual -Nintendo will obviously do their own thing, but as dominant a position as they're in, I think part of their plan behind the scenes would be to help Microsoft stay in the race, as it would get much more cutthroat between them and Sony if it was a two-horse race. They'll definitely show off some massive stuff. |
As great a scenario as that might seem for Nintendo, I'd like to know specifically how they could go about doing that.
