Those games are ancient. Mega man? On PC, from 1990? It's not even a port, that's an entirely different game. No body's playing any of those games. If you have to go back 5+ years, or even 30 years of PC games to make a point, your argument is invalid. 30 years ago, you were better off playing on consoles. Today, you're better off on PC. No one cares about a game from 2012 that no one's ever heard of. What about the games releasing NOW. Today. I have batman arkham knight. it runs better on the PC today, but i originally bought it on PS4. I'd never play that game on PS4 considering how much better it is now. It even uses Playstation callouts if your using a PS4 controller. And I have Neir Automata too, never had an issue with the game. I know from first hand experience. The thing I asked about in the last post was to show me MOST GAMES not some remakes of console games that were made for inferior PCs. Back in the 90s, you had totally different games on different consoles with the same name. Mega Man on PC is one of them. Street Fighter 2 was a bad port in 1992? Well, today, I can emulate the arcade version of the game by buying the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. And it comes with Street Fighter 1-3, and alpha. Even the article itself is from 2016. My PC didn't even exist until 2017. If we're going to go back 30 years, I may as well say Jumping Flash! on PS1 is a garbage of an exclusive for playstation. It's stiff, clunky, and has horrible camera control. And, I love that game. It was one of the first games I owned on PS1, and I still play it today. I was playing it last week. But would I recommend it to anyone? No. I know full well, I like that game because of nostalgia and does not at all reflect the gaming standards of today. There's no way you read that article. Read what the article says on RE4. (Oh, the HD port fixes most of these issues anyway, but in 2003, oh boy, what a mess that game was.) Are you kidding me? |
You didn't ask about anything. You just said you had a lot of games that you say run well, but not everybody has the same PC set up as you.
You also don't get to dictate what games are relevant for this as people play all different kinds of games with different set ups.
It's also not all about specs. You can have a powerful PC, but for some games when they come out you might not have a specific driver for a particular game to run without crashing or glitching, or if not a driver, without having to tweak your PC settings.
If yours is running N:A well then good for you. Not everybody was so lucky at the beginning when it came out. There were driver issues in particular that were causing issues. But it didn't stop there. There are solutions, but there's a lot of workarounds https://windowsreport.com/fix-nier-automata-issues/
Some people also don't like waiting for games to get fixed and that alone could end up souring ever getting a certain version of said game. If you're ok with waiting on them and in some cases tweaking your PC settings to get them to work, then more power to you.
These problems are a completely valid reason why gamers should consider still buying consoles over PC.
