Quite frankly i dont see how simply not viewing political threads of they aint your cup of tea isnt the the simplest solution
On top of that it shouldnt matter even of its "alot" of people, which is more the the thing of the vocal minority in cases like this.
I dont like NFL and NBQ thus in sports apps i scroll past posts about those or unlist newsfeeds regarding those topics

If 'a lot' of people's opinions don't matter, no opinion should matter. That's not how this works, though.

There is no solution. Some discuss politely, others troll for a living.

Oh, there are solutions, even if everyone won't agree on/to them. We could still decide against it. I only wanted to see what many of you thought, but that doesn't guarantee a specific result either way.

I didnt say those opinions didnt count, im merely saying that "alot" is very subjective

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
