The ps4 has absolutely no right to be topping the chart in year 6. No right whatsoever. How does it pull it off?

At $299, and still very competitive; PS4 does not even need a price cut, can you imagine ?  In Japan maybe, but I don't think it's the right time; Jap can buy 60-70k Switch per week without new games, 'cause its the new cool trend, a lovely and colorful handheld from Nintendo to take with them when they go to work or to school.   September 2019 would be definitively the best time for a Worldwide price cut at $199, and enlarge even more the Playstation ecosystem, and be ready for PS5 the year after, BC, and PSN bigger than ever.   Sony are doing all perfectly this Gen, and PS4 the most profitable playstation console of all.  Congrats Sony!

Japan needs a $50 price cut ASAP or things will get ugly there.

Adjustments made on the front page to these numbers: Switch now leads PS4 242k to 220k

Yeah, PS4 got adjusted down a lot in the US, now on par with the XBO there, which is much more likely.

I think ps4 should be a good bit ahead of xbox in the US.
