Really any Paper Mario game, because I k ew it would be years before a new one came out. Particularly The Thousand Year Door. A perfect game ending means your time in it's perfection must end, at least until you play it again. That game ending felt like when I read the last Harty Potter book; amazing but I was filled with sadness.
