Have you had a look at Capcom's profits lately? They have made plenty of good business decisions. Monster Hunter World was a global sensation and Resident Evil 2 Remake had very good sales as well.

Capcom's actual devs are fantastic. It's their executives who are fools. Every good decision they've made has been either getting out of the devs way (Monster Hunter) or accident (Resident Evil 2). The only reason they greenlit Resident Evil 2 Remake is because the HD re-release of REmake sold over a million copies. The two games aren't even in the same GENRE, so what sense does that make?
