I've had a GTX 1080 Ti in my computer since it released. With microsoft's plan, there's no reason for me to ever own an xbox. They've made bad impressions on me all 3 generations they've been around.

I don't want to get a PS5 either. No point in getting multiplats, because they all run better on my PC. I definitely wont be getting it at launch or around launch. Not going to spend 500 dollars on hardware just to wait 2 years for the good stuff, or else play the last generation games.

I just had a long gaming session with my PS2, playing some PS1 games. My thumbs are actually sore from all the QCF, and HCF motions I was doing. All that friction just hurts my hands. When I used controllers more, the skin on my thumbs were rougher, and it wouldn't bother me.

I think the eco systems are opening up. Well, they definitely are, with microsoft having Live on Switch. Really smart move. I'm sure sony will follow, with PS5 console exclusives on PC.

As for Nintendo.  I bought that thing on a whim just because i had a chance to get it for 200 dollars back in 2017.  As of last month, it's actually getting the most playtime of any console I own.  It's the first Nintendo I've ever owned, and I'm glad I waited.  It's literally the first Nintendo console that remotely interested me, or else I wouldn't have gotten a switch.  As someone who grew up swearing by sega and sony consoles, and not wanting to touch anything else, it's funny that in the end, Nintendo's hardware is the first thing I would consider next generation.
