65" 5 feet away, pixels really make a difference to me.

Oh, I see. I upgraded from a 32 inch to a 47 so I can understand why I don't see a huge difference until I get within 6 feet. I have to say though that when I get within 2 or three feet of the 32 inch and 4 or 5 feet on the 47 inch the sharpness is massive, mainly seeing all the jaggies caused by less pixels or the pixels on the text. I can see it making a huge difference like it does with film once next gen, don't get me wrong though by my previous comment, 4k is still worth it for me, I do get a smile from switching from performance mode to resolution mode in games that allow for it and switching between re2 on my 32inch 1080 on the OG and my 47 inch 4k HDR at the same time was  a pretty excellent win for the 4k display. Can't wait to see how they make use of it in the 9th gen.

Didn't took you wrong. I saw that you see from quite a smaller display on bigger distance so the difference would be less noticeable to you.
