I find it rather weird that you have to "turn your brain off" to appreciate it. Like you have to play it and put no thought into to enjoy it? That's probably more literal that what you mean but even if this is what crackdown fans wanted and expected, why wouldn't a developer try to push the envelope a little? New console, new tech, new power, and they (apparently) just made crackdown 2 but shinier. The way this game is being described, I would not be a proud developer.
