Looking at some BFV benchmarks, 8GB is pushing it at Ultra settings.

 

Too low? 8GB is already more than double of what the PS4/Pro works with. There are way too many posters in here with "PC Gaming" mindsets. 12 GB reserved for video games/developers? That's batshit crazy and absolutely will not be the case... That's just dumb.

Uhmmm... no. The PS4 uses 5GB of RAM, I think the Pro boosted it to 5.5. And again, the X1X is using 9GB of RAM for games, 12GB in total.

The 8th gen consoles launched in 2013 with 8GB of RAM. You really think 16GB of RAM for 9th gen is too high? I feel an expectation of 12GB to 16GB for games is actually realistic when you consider all of that.

Do you really think 9th gen consoles will launch with less memory than a X1X? That's would be pretty amazing.
