Software is drying up for it, basically (has been for awhile).
Its clear nintendo isnt really going to do much of anything for it anymore, and 3rd party have also dropped it.
So its gonna keep selling abit on what software library it has, but wont have anything new to draw people in.
Also people realise that its replaced by the switch, so not as many will want to invest into something thats basically dead.
Last big titles for 3ds:
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey
Etrian Odyssey Nexus
Yo-kai Watch 3
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn
Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth
after that it probably wont get another big(ish) title.
