If you actually read the thread, you wouldn't have these questions. It's less about Steam and more about the Epic Games store. Setting aside a general lack features, the biggest issues of all is the always online requirement and no refund policy. If I buy a game on Steam, GOG, or Origin and my internet goes down or I take my laptop out with me and don't have net access, I can still play my games. You can't do that on Epic Games Store.
