Yeah, it's a 3D recreation of the art direction of the cartoon instead of the conventional models in the Star Wars games.

 

They should have used cel-shading.

Well let's wait and see how it turns out. There could have been a few reasons. Perhaps the lightsaber combat would have looked odd with it.
