I wonder if KH3 will have better legs than FFXV had on PS4 in Japan, in terms of ratios (but also overall sales). Will the franchise lesser in popularity the same way FF did in Japan? Looking back at the old PS2 games, KH1 and KH2 have *very* similar sales in Japan despite the fact that worldwide KH2's sales were fairly different. Then again, the same could be said for the other Final Fantasy games on PS2, there's only a ~400k difference in Japan between the best selling version of FF on PS2 and the 2nd best selling version. FF kept 85% of it's sales in Japan when jumping from FFX to FFXII (it's worse if you are comparing to X-2), whereas Kingdom Hearts kept 92.6% of it's sales in Japan. Though, I don't know if those numbers are relevant now.
