It seems that Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 has a heavy bug. My save file has been deleted automatically after finishing episode 2.
Right after watching the ending of episode 2 I wanted to check out standard mode and collectible mode. All 5 save slots were empty. Nevertheless I was able to select and play a scene of episode 1 and 2. So I thought that the save file is OK but hidden. I quitted the game.
Today I checked my save files within PS4 main menu and there was only the save file for the settings and not the file for slot 1. I used only slot 1 for my save file of episode 1 and 2 on PS4 Pro. I also had a save file of Captain Spirit, which is still existing and working. I then started Life is Strange 2 and I wasn't able to select a scene and could not play episode 2 anymore, because there was no file of episode 1 to be found. That made me realize that there is no hidden save file and I have to play the game all over again. It's not that I don't want to play it again, but it's about your initial decisions.
Another point which made me wonder was the message "No choices to compare with" right after the ending of episode 2. I have seen the choices I made, but no percentage for comparison to other players. Maybe this caused the trouble. The console was connected to the internet.
Most of the people aren't aware of this problem I think, because they haven't started the game again after finishing episode 2. But if they want to find collectibles, see alternative decisions or start episode 3 at the latest - they won't be happy.
Are there any other people with a similar problem?
