Switch was available for 10 months of 2017, the 2 missing months are countered by March being a launch month. For all intents and purposes, it's close enough to count as a full year unlike 2013 for PS4.
How about you stop wasting our time and just do whatever comparison yourself instead of complaining? All the data you need is readily available.
