For the first two years, it's mostly just been selling on first party games alone and some indies and old third party ports. Starting in 2019 expect to see a lot more simultaneous releases from third party games and even some third party exclusives. It's been a really long time since Nintendo had a home console with all of their first party games plus most of the best third party games too. It's going to be like the return of the NES, the most dominant console ever. Although domination in the modern era has a lot bigger stakes than it did in the 80's. Switch will become the best selling console of all time. |
Ohh this, is.... Wow.
... you know Sony and Microsoft are releasing new console that are going to making porting to the Switch even more difficult than in it is now, right? Even now Switch ports are mostly all limited to games that aren't very resource intensive. Why on earth would this actually get better?
